Jeez. I hate it when you see that perfect shot and you don't have your camera near at hand. I was just outside putting away stuff for the winter when a huge V of Canada geese came flying along. Why they were headed north, who knows, but they were in perfect V formation about 200 feet directly overhead. At just that moment, three Rutan Longezes came along not more than 500 feet in a tight V as well. From my perspective the Longezes flew right up the goose V and it was almost nose to nose like this.

v...........v
.v.........v
..v.......v
...v.....v <- geese
....v...v
.....v.v
......v
.......V V <- Longezes
........V

The only thing that would have made it perfect is if there was a beautiful blue sky, but thats what photoshop was invented for, and I HAD MY FREAKING CAMERA...

Bummer,

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I know the feeling, I missed a shot the other week of a guy in a campervan that thought a multi-storey carpark in the city would be a good place to park. Sadly he didn't think about how high his vehicle was.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)
