It is haunting me. I have my XT,10-22 and 18-200 on ebay. I have the 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 in my B&H shopping cart just waiting. This is torture. I think I will push the button tomorrow. Am I a Lcoholic.... possibly.

A bit confused here... why get the 18-200 when you're gonna get the 10-22, 24-70, and 70-200?

He isn't. He's selling the consumer glass to get the L's. And I think he's making a very wise choice. Nice kit! :)

he said "I have my XT,10-22 and 18-200 on ebay. (selling)

I have the 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 in his shopping cart. (about to buy)

Nothing confusing about that.

Why get rid of the 10-20?

Aha. I see. Thanks for the clarification. And he's selling the 10-22 because he will only have a 1D mk II.

I just got a call from my Sister and Brother in law and they want the Rebel xt and Tamaron along with some extras. ( a step up from their Point and Shoot) Now its time to check out. B&H I am on my way.
I am definitely set on the 70-200 2.8 IS, but was torn between the 24-105 and the 24 70 like alot of others... out there, it is a tough choice. Both obviously are brilliant lenses. But wanting the low light ability indoors 24-70 2.8 seemed to be the choice, and with sport shooting with the 70-200.2.8 IS, I think I will go and hit the button.
I would also like to add this forum has been extremely helpful ....thanks.

I will give you a ups truck update....:D

The correct term, as you folks in California should know, is girly man!

Go for it. Spend that money. Your kids won't need it anyway. They can work their own way thru college like you did.

With 2 new FF models in Canon's soon to be released projects, you all realize this is what is going to happen later. The FF will be in and the 1.6 out. All the people with ef-s lense that want to go to FF will be up ****s creak. They will have to loose money in order to upgrade.

OK don't let me have it hard.

Thx

Where did you get the info from that Canon will be releasing 2 new FF models? I've only heard of unsubstantiated rumors (as well as participated in some :)).

rumors or not, other companies like sony are moving to the FF and starting to cause some competition. Anyways most film guys would like FF instead of 1.6. the 3d is going to be mine when it is released.
