It would bring the intensity way up. Everything else looks wonderful to me. Looked like a nice painful hit! As I mentioned, I'm new to this - until this year I was one of the guys on the bench wearing a hat and gloves. This is our local hockey rink - refrigerated but outdoors. Yes, skating sunward is a challenge and the choice of home vs. away takes on new meaning

It's a pretty good picture, but because the ice is 'white', it fools the camera's light meter into underexposing. You lost a few of the details in the shadows, the black parts of their uniforms. You can experiment with the "exposure compensation" function to try and eliminate this problem. Apart for that and the crop that people have suggested, nice photo. Also, nice kit. Andrew.
