Excellent image Tommy, that pink purple car in the background really makes it. The machine element is kinda tenuous though, but I'll let you pass just this once.;)

Paaaah ... blatent brown nosing favouritism amongst the L Twins :rolleyes: Two shots lauded, neither of which are even half recognisable :evil:

totally agree:evil:

for a minute there reading the hype thought Petkins had a change of personality but then along comes the norm. >

"Birdstroke, when we talk "lomography" here we do not mean "CA tomography". Get a life, dood, stop playing with your cranium.
Rejected although the subject might have had a near-flight experience as induced by therapeutic doses of Methadone "

(:lol::lol::lol::lol:)

(great picture birdstroke):cool:

The Overall Contest Winner is Maria with her "Church renovation" entry.

Upon further reflection, for a judge it is really not entirely appropriate to try second guessing the photographer's ideas, intents and messages behind an entry. Indeed, Maria's intent could be very different from the way I see that image, and I see it in a very good and spiritually uplifting, not neccessarily religeous, light. No doubt, the picture makes us think a bit, which is a hallmark of a good photograph. That's what I think is important...the impact a photograph has on the viewer.

Thank you all for your fine contributions to this thread.
