Beautiful shots. Can't figure out which one I like best. #3 -- no #4 -- no #3 -- no #1. If you put my feet to the fire, I'd have to say #4. Beautiful detail, lighting and background. A real winner.

Thank you very much. Kia is such a joy to photo. She will follow you with her eyes and she looks like she is posing. She seems to get happy whenever there are children near and watching her.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Me too-I love that last full-body pose! Wonderful! I have to tell you, at the local zoo, the tigers perk up when kids are near and appear to "stalk" them, going into stealth mode and following them with eyes and running along the edge of the moat. It's really a little scary! Makes you want that moat to be wider....

Last one needs some contrast; it's a bit flat. Love the composition/pose and the perfect stone. She looks very strong and confident.

Thank you all very much. i can't tell you how much i have enjoyed my 100-400 L IS. It has brought some real joy to my photography. To see those eyes that close in my viewfinder - all I can say is wow. The lens is worth every penny!
Red carpet I cant really add any contrast as is blows the sky out too much. I found it a real struggle against such a bright background. pttenn i know what you mean - lol.
Thank you all for the kind comments. :)
