The bride chose it for a poster print.

What do you think?

Not bad, but i'd crop the left off. What was your choice?

It's touch over-exposed. You've lost a lot of dress detail. If you can salvage it, it would really enhance the shot, imo.

Mizuno - the dress is fine on my monitor, even on this web version. There are a few slightly hot areas. But I am ok with them. I actually bumped up the exposure slightly from the original RAW file.

Tim - in terms of personal choice for a poster size print I haven't decided. I have a lot of good shots from this wedding and I just felt strange when she asked for it as it didn't jump out and grab me that it was the best picture when I first went through the files.

I mean I like it as it is and probably wouldn't go with your suggested crop - well maybe a little off the left, but not much.

I like the pose, I just think she just looks better in other shots perhaps.

I will post another couple later tonight.

I think it's a nice shot ... if it was me, I'd add more vignette to darken the left side. I'd also make the pink background flowers match the green around them so they don't draw the eye. It's a nice shot and a cute couple.

If you want I can Photoshop the image to show you what I mean.

Hahaha, the rule is...
pick your 75 least favourite pictures from a wedding, and those are the pictures the bride will eventually choose for the album.

They are all very nice pictures, especially the last one. But since the bride is the customer (and customer always right), you will just have to follow...

Bpuppy - I think you mean the right hand side as you look at it. The blown out background in that top corner is probably what is getting to me.

I don't have a problem with the bride choosing that shot - I was just trying to get a handle on what was distracting me in the shot. I pick up the print today.
