I received a Graphistudo sample album last week and have to say I am very impressed with it. We have sold a few of these for some of our gigs next year already and now that I have an actual album to show around I am sure we will sell some more.

As reportage photobook albums go its hard to imagine anything being better quality than this, its a very well made book and very nicely printed. The book contains samples of several different layout styles that they offer in the different print materials that you can have the books printed in, the pages are more like card than paper they are that thick.

What we recieved was just a sample album with their photos in it rather than our own work as we havent got a wedding until April next year that has ordered a graphistudio book but I am loking forward already to seeing our photos in one of these books and we will probably get a duplicate copy from that April wedding to use as a sample book to show clients next year.

Only thing I am not sure about with the sample album is the clear cover, I think I would probably go for one of the other materials that they offer but then thats down to personal choice I guess and the sample album does show the printed cover off nicely.

One of the things that first interested me in Graphistudio was that they offer to do the album layouts rather than us having to do them which for me is very good as atm thats not something I am interested in doing myself. The system that they use for doing this seems very straight forward with minimal effort from the photographer required, you can of course do the layouts yourself as well and they offer a print and bind only service for this.

In terms of helping me get my photography business started I am very impressed with Graphistudio. I havent yet placed any orders with them apart from forecasting what I will do next year but they have still supported me with a sample album that comes with a briefcase as well a small parents album and other sales literature. This is a marked difference to some other companies I have looked into that require a couple of hundred quid up front before they even entertain you selling their albums or sending you any samples so for this I applaud you Graphistudio.

Gonna add an albums page to my website to show that we offer these albums now as I feel very comfortable offering them to potential clients.

Heres a few photos of the sample album anyway, I think the mottled effect on the man in the front cover was because I had just brought it in from being outside all day into a warm room, will check that its gone now when I am back home.

Dear …

We also use GraphiStudio (along with many other album companies). Make sure you add the following disclaimer to your album shipment for the brides. We have shipped dozens and dozens of GraphiStudio albums and so far very pleased with quality. However the “photographic” paper will cause a “pink line” to appear in book fold over time. Setting expectations with your customers will go a long way with satisfaction. Our brides just love these albums.

I suggest giving these instructions to every customer:
