G'day All,

Have just finished cleaning up some of my favourite panoramas from Phillip Island. These shots were used as first prize in a Raffle done by the Surf Club. The winner got to choose their favourite and have it printed and framed.

Thought I would share them with you all to see your thoughts. Some of these shots were done using my first digital Camera (Canon G1) others were done using my 10D.

That's a fair pile of beautiful shots, but you might find that you will get more feedback if you were to limit the photos to 2-3 or so per thread. ;)

Is Kitty Miller Bay as round as that, or is it in part due to the focal length used?

G'day John,

Yeah I didn't think about that when I was posting. Just wanted to show them all off. Will take that into concideration next time, thanks.

Kitty Miller Bay really is that shape. It is even more pronounced when the tide is all the way out.

G'day CannedHeat,

Thanks for the compliments. Its always good to get feedback.

Ivan

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Nice work indeed, that's the sky I was looking for on a recent trip.

G'day All,

Once again thanks for all the feed back. It is very encouraging. :D

Bikerider, as I'm sure you will agree the weather down at the Island changes very rapidly. So it can take several trips to get a good day. But when you get that day it is worth the wait as the Island has some great scenery.

Azpix, the font that I use is called Papyrus. It is a free font that I think I found on the website dafont.com

As for the program that I use, the photos get the main part of the stitching done in Panorama Factory. Then they are saved in a Photoshop format and 'touched up'. This usually involves blending the seams to remove people that have walked across the frame and things like that.

I also try to make sure that the seams do not have any straight lines. As this make it harder for people to spot it.

Some great shots there - I enjoyed the second set the most, beautiful scenery and that lovely curved bay and beach!
