Then if you look on the rigth side of the image and inch or two from the top. You will see another spot. Not as dark as the one over the tail. Thats sensor dust Canon 1D Mark II

What you can do is take your camera. Put in M mode. Turn the aperture as far as it will go (f-32, anything hire than f16-18... Shoot at white wall or clear blue sky. (you don't even have to focus your camera). Then upload your image in PS view at 100% and that will reveal all your sensor dust particles Canon 1D Mark II
