lol No, I didn't threaten the guy with lasting physical damage. He was just being really cool and helpful. He seemed to really go out of his way to make an exception to the policy. I just got an e-mail today confirming that my new i9900 is on the way. ;)

I sent my 24-105L in a few days ago. There is a recall on some of the early ones and it included mine. They sent back a brand-new one. Total turn around was just about a week. I have no complaints.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

At least they get if fixed.
Canon Canada can't seem to fix anything... but thankfully, they're good at replacing things.
Just ask Drisley how they clean the dust out of a camera. Who ever thought a Canon repair center wouldn't have a clean room... or the right tools (always ordering special parts from Japan).

I wonder what they intend on servicing since they never seem to have the right equipment to fix anything Canon. It also makes me wonder what they're doing during the 6+ week waiting periods.

I'm seriously considering sending my stuff to the US for service... do you only need to send in the US warantee cards (like in Canada we just send in the receipt)?
