Okay, I have been asked by my in-laws to photograph their event tomorrow. I recently purchased the lumiquest promax light diffuser setup with all the reflectors... I own the 580EX.

I think the ceiling will be relatively high... around 12-14ft. If not, I will work with it I guess. I will play around with things tomorrow night I guess... flash, no flash, I may bump up the iso with no flash but I want that nice lighting, the "glow" feeling.

So yeah.... I guess any tips you may have would greatly be appreciated!

Bounce off a wall (or person, or anything), or use off camera lighting, capture the emotions and forget the technical thingamies.

What Tim said. Bounce the light and, if needed, correct the WB later.
