I voted BW. I prefer color, but in this case for this image I like BW. If the sky were masked and manipulated in BW, this image would take on that "haunting" appearance infrared images do. /Dan

i love the warmth of the colour but love the b&w because it makes it very dramatic!

Both versions are impressive. I like the color better because the exposure is perfect. I would work with the perspective and straighten the building lines a little.

How about some compromise? If you don't mind:

In that case, I think your color version wins. I think that mine looked a lot more like that before it was compressed for the web. Not quite though.

Nice edit.

I too loved the way the sun hit this church. I was on the way somewhere and I saw this. I squeeled around and made a u-turn then took this out of my car window, I hate to admit. The light is great though.

Interesting comments re B&W and colour.
I think I prefer the colour one best.
But how about straightening the building up .. not hard in PS.

It looks straight to me. This is my problem I guess. Would you suggest that the lines on the right side aren't vertical enough? Maybe another degree to the right?

Straightened the building a little. What do you think?

I prefer the colored more saturated version.
