i took some pictures of my friend's 2007 Scion tC, and thought i'd post them up to show you guys and get some advice on how to do better next time. pretty new at this, so any suggestions are more than welcome! :D


all pictures were shot with a digital rebel xt and 18-55mm kit lens.

I'm guessing that you like that WB (White balance) & background, but it's a bit too much for me? The wide crop puts as much, or more emphasis on the background than it does on the car. And with the car so close to it, you're robbing the car of the highlights that you would have if it could reflect some sky & they would help define the body.

Car in sunlight are hard to shoot anyway. When you have the time, here's another way to use (later) low light:

Still, it's a pretty good effort, & much better than some I've seen here? ;)

That location would be awesome during the day...
In my opinion, a very bright mid-day, or a foggy early morning.

yeah i really wanted to take some pictures during the day but haven't gotten the opportunity yet. thanks a lot for the comments though, i know i've got a lot to learn!
