So I talked to the couple tonight, and the guy doing the prints for them really like this one:

I like the first four you posted better than this one, but ultimately, its whatever the couple wants. btw - i like this post process much better.

Nice photos, but they need better processing than the originals, and more subtle than some of the edits posted. Do your B&W conversion using the channel mixer method, or auto in CS2 beta. Add contrast to everything. Add a vignette sometimes, I have a method for that here.

The channel mixer gives you a lot of control for bw conversions, but you can also try adding a gradient map as a layer and get pleasing results that way too. A curves or levels layer between the gradient map and background image can tweak it further.

The Niki de St. Phalle park has a lot of potential. I'd lbe curious to know if you placed the couple on the far side of your frame in any shots in the sculpture garden in order to take advantage of the background. The shot with the stars/moons underneath that big bird/turtle or whatever it is looks good to me.
