As mentioned in another topic a few weeks back I wanted to go on a Christmassy vacation this year, if there's such a thing. I wanted to see the Christmas markets in Germany but I also wanted to go down to the Alps. Munich seemed the perfect choice, so last week I travelled there for 4 days.
I had a great time, saw everything I wanted to, ate a worryingly high amount of sausages and took loads of photos!
A few days before I left I bought a Zenitar 16mm Fisheye. I was originally going to take my trusty Sigma 10-20mm, but I'm beginning to be completely engulfed by manual focus lenses, the Sigma is a superb lens but it's expensive and rather big, so I left it at home. And I'm glad I did, the Zenitar has proved to be a fantastic lens! And considering it is 4x cheaper it may become my only ultra wide lens in the near future.
