Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Arguably the most famous surf shop around.

Heh. Funny enough, but I'm not sure if you ever have been to aden camera. If you have, you will know that they do not let you test the lenses in the store (atleast the one time I was there, the other time they didn't care), but they allow you to go outside and take photos of the street or whatever with the lenses.
My friend and I have been trying a bunch of lesnes from them, mostly UWA. We keep taking shots down the street with Sam in them, haha.
Zebra, are you downtown a lot? If so, we should definitley go shooting. My friend and I are going to shoot the kensington festival of lights tommorow near Dundas (I think?)

I have season tickets for the Blue Jays, so am downtown fairly regularly during ball season. Other than that, not very often apart from the odd trip to Vistek on Queen Street for camera stuff. Have a great time at the festival of lights and dont forget to post some shots. Merry Christmas.

Jagjit may or may not appreciate you wishing him merry Xmas, however, before you wish me the same, might as well tell you that I am a pagan.

Thanks. I'm Jewish actually (As I think Petkal knows), and am celebrating hanukkah. It doesn't matter though, to me, merry christmas means happy holidays :).
Yeah, I'll see what I can do with the festival of lights. I need to figure out how to focus when I cannot see or reach the camera. I'm very short, so am guessing I will have to use the monopod and remote shutter I have.
Maybe I'll get some photos of the stores. Just don't have any of my new lenses yet :(.

Canon EOS 30D, Sigma 30 1.4, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 105 Macro, 135L, 430ex, Lowepro Mini Trekker AW, Manfrotto 3001pro w/486rc2 and 804rc2 head, Manfrotto 681 w/ 3232 head.

A little digression here, Jagjit: why don't you organize a mini LOW meet for a nice weekend in early January? We can invite Compadre (Sugarzebra) and Danny boy (MRClark) perhaps a couple more. You can all come to Port Credit. I've got my stunt ducks aplenty;) ...mostly Mallards, a few Buffleheads (see below). Also, there are always stunt pigeons for in-flight shootin'. If we are lucky, we get some Mergansers and Long Tails as well.

Perhaps I should.
Lack of transportation :(. I like shooting in the city because it's easy to get around with public transportation.
My friend and I are going to go around shooting tommorow before the festival of lights people w/ model release forms. Should be fun if we don't chicken out :D.

I don't know, my mom collects that stuff, earings, figurines, everything, and I've been in the stores a few times. Would probably be fun to shoot some of that stuff.

Nah, you need to discover girls son ...

Girls are the least of my worries. The last thing I need is some spychotic teenage girl messing with my brain and interfearing with my hobbies and academics. Plus, I like them around 20 or so, I think they are just right at around that age.

Are you talking about our talented little chum Dani?

Agreed ... 20 sounds right, but that is but a hazy memory so can't be sure
