None of the pictures are actually good, but the place is so amazing I had to post them up. I will post some more later, I took 275 or so all together.


BTW I am standing on an abandoned highway with a coal mine under the whole town that has been on fire for a few decades, as you can see where the smoke is pouring out of the road. This place could be an amazing place to get some great shots.

Centralia jogged my memory Oh yeah the coal mine in Pa that caught fire and kept burning. I haven't heard about it in many years. just keeps going.Must smell like hell there.

You should go back after it snows... If it ever does this year. It is interesting because some parts of town have absolutely no snow, while others have a ton. If I remember correctly, aren't a few people still living there? I may head down over Christmas anyways. Very cool place.
