Hi all

I finaly managed to get away for the weekend and take some shots.

Here's one of Lake Tennysen in the South Island of New Zealand

Nice shot, lots of contrast and it makes for a nice b/w conversion. Lots of textures and an almost compressed feeling work well here.

There are enough patterns and details (such as the wiggly shoreline) to make this photo work very nicely in B&W.

Stunning shot, love the composure, love the texture, and love the B&W convertion.

Only slight, is that the clouds look a bit burnt out in places, but not enought to spoil the overall impact of the image.
