Great photos with a nice story. I like the yellow of the lights. Do you have any idea what those cute little tank cars are hauling?

Nice train shots Marie....The last shot looks like something from a movie...about a lost love or something!

Very eerie looking scene, wonderful capture. It does look like something out of a mystery movie. :D

thanks Harold

a lot of our street lights are that colour because they are more suitable for foggy nights.
they are good for unfoggy nights too
:)

the 'tanks' are called 'the bubbles' by the rail men working in the station
they contain dry cement on the journey to another country town.
they then go back empty into the city to collect more of the same
nice rumble they made . about 30 tanks
:)

as you know fog can make things look gorgeous sometimes
probably because we can't see some things which are more of a distraction, so the rest looms larger then life

fog seems mysterious always
I was out on the plains tonight for the doggy's usual walk
could hardly see anything.
suddenly a man taking a short cut loomed running crossways right in front of me

not even sure if he saw me .maybe he got a fright too and kept running:lol:
the dog never barked . that I was surprised at

maybe it was a ghost:eek:

then again the dog would bark at a ghost

(I know I would)

It's the Holiday load of Irish whiskey on it's way to Dublin? :D

Those are very pretty, Marie!

Pressurised chemicals and gasses. I guess whiskey is a chemical of sorts. But I'm not drinking whatever's in those canisters.
