Looks good on paper, wonder if it is just a fanstasy model, or if its really on Apple's cards, time will tell I guess.

I never really bought a macbook pro because 15" is too large. My 14" Sony is even a little large. 13" is nice, but the macbook lacks in quite a few features such as GPU. 12" would be sweet for on the road. I hate lugging around clunky laptops.

i just got a 13" macbook in black, i hope the new model doesnt outprice my new purchase.

Yeah, graphical processing unit, the graphics card.

The timing in the article seems just about right to coincide with a MacWorld Expo rollout in January. They always have something to unveil then, and that would fill a hole in their current MacBook Pro lineup. If it can be expanded to 2 gigs, I'll probably buy one.

Agreed. They need a ultra light weight, and a small mac in their macbook pro lineup.
