I just went out with my daughter and took pictures. It is so much fun to take pictures when you go out and have someone to chat with and enjoy your hobby. My daughter returns to college after New Year's, so I will be back on my own.
I would like to meet someone who enjoys the hobby and wants to go once or twice a week and shoot pictures locally. I live in Fair Oaks, if you live in the Sacramento area, you know where that is. I am near Bella Vista HD.

53 Years old, straight, happily married for 12 years (I've been married for 26 years but 12 were happy.... just kidding!!! 26 happy years of marriage to the same wonderful woman! I am medically retired from the fire department and am a beginner in photography.
My gear list will indicate what I shoot with. I have a bad back with MANY surgeries so I can't go out all the time, can't stay out for long periods of time, and live with pain, but I won't whine to you.
Looking for:
Someone who likes taking pictures and has their own Canon digital SLR camera (don't care what model.) Doesn't matter to me if you are a man, woman, straight, gay, age (well, no kids) whatever.
Might sound crazy, but I think a camera buddy would motivate me more to get out and shoot if I had someone else depending on me to be somewhere at a certain time. As I said, my back is pretty screwed up, I used to be quite the golf nut, but that is out now, so maybe someone else out there might want to share our camera hobbies together. It would at least make me get out of the house which I rarely do now. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
