Hi all, I haven't shot a lot of surfing before. I took a couple of a mate today on my way home from work. Mainly to further test out my 2x converter. Any comments would be welcome. ;)

Nice shots, I am not a big fan of converters. This could be because I've never used one before. I have heard that they take a little away from the image. Not just a stop of two, but some of the sharpness. I don't know if that is true or not. If you have photoshop or any other image editing software try touching up the contrast a little and saturate the colors just a little. I sharpen my surfing images just a little to add to the spray from the boards. I know your waves are a lot bigger and break further out than our Florida waves, so you may need the converter. Keep shooting and post some more.
