I posted a b&w photo the other day but it was more experiemental and didn't really show the true beauty of my cat :)

So here he is. Almost 5 years old, weighing in at 8 lbs. Un-neutered in-door male cat that does not spray. Awesome personality and awkward habits.

Enjoy...

These pics were actually all taken with my Powershot A85 and post-processing was done in photoshop. I really didn't do much post-processing other than brightness/contrast. I have been waiting for an oportunity to shoot him with the new camera and lenses but no chances have come up yet. The new dog gets jelous.

The rest of these are old and not touched up at all. They are just some examples of his crazy personality.

Thanks for the comments. I went ahead and tried getting some shots of him today. Figured this would be a two for one. My first shot of the cat with my new equipment and my first EF 50mm f/1.8 II lense pic as well.

This pic was taken under incadescent lighting and the color of our walls amplify it so things are always yellowish. I wanted to post the before and after pics. I am blue/green color blind and I wanted to see how close I was on color correction. So please crit the final product.

First three nothing! They're all cute! The first three are just processed better.

Beautiful cat. Great pix. And your new camera seems to do quite well.

Appreciate the C&C guys!

So the color converted one looks right then? Sorry to bother but since I am color blind I won't really trust it until I get it verified that isn't :)

Nice cat - some good photos. I have taken the liberty of removing the shadows from #1...
