I’ve seen so many posts about early x-mas “lenses”, so I guess quite a few of us here are whishing something for our cameras for Christmas. Now I know why Canon loves Christmas ;)

I can't think of a darned thing I would like. I know that I want a longer lens, but which one? 500, 600? Oh well, I will figure it out eventually.

I'm after a decent/lightweight Carbon Fibre tripod to go with my new Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head :-)

On my wishlist is the Manfrotto 486RC2 and a little green to go into the piggybank for a 17-40L :)

Either an XTi/20D(whichever one I decide) or a 10-20mm lens. I just don't see the point in spending $300 out of pocket for another 8mp camera, but most people don't see the point in spending $200 out of pocket(I"m selling my XT) for 2 more megapixles.

Well, as much as I'd like a Sigma 10-20mm zoom, that's a bit much to ask for. I'd be happy with a card reader for the computer.

A sneaky little elf (my son) has already told me my husband has bought me camera stuff for Christmas. I'm guessing a flash.

My birthday's in two months. Do y'all think I should start working on him for a prime lens?

Thought I was getting a second body, but turns out I'm getting a truck load of B&H gift cards to use as I please.

Once I see how much they total, I'll either be getting the 300 f2.8, or the 16-35 f2.8 and some other stuff.

I'm dreaming of a 300 2.8. I'm not getting one, but I can still dream.
