I had a wedding six hours away from home last weekend. Here are a few of my favorites. Just wanted to share. Comments are welcomed.

Now I know most of you guys hate the fake blur effect, BUT I did this because the background was kinda.... well yuck.... so I will post the before and after..

The last image is beautiful.

The ability to capture the inner beauty of a soul is the essence of a true photographer. For anyone can capture outward adornment, but who can capture the inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God's sight?

I like the "after" shot! Looks like you used a "lens babies" to get the blur.
I bet the couple will love it. number 1 is pretty cool as well.

I processed the images with lightroom, and then created the blur effect, and the tone with picasa.

#1 has great colors, and I WAY prefer the "before" shot :)

I like the before shot as well. Mainly for the colors with the sunsetting. I would try a vertical crop to cut out the twigs coming out from the front side.

Definitely the before shot. It doesn't look "yucky" at all, silly. :) The colors are pretty.

I think the before shot is 10x better than the after.

I also like the before shot, although rather than a vertical crop as suggested, I would try to clone out that mess of sticks in the middle. It looks like the background behind it is pretty homogeneous and/or easily cloned, but I am at work and can't get a real good look. Great photos :)

Whoa! I recently shot a bride with the exact same dress! It's an uncommon design as it's got colour on it. What a coincidence!

Anyhow, nice captures!
But I too like the before shot.

I just looked at a friend of a friend's wedding pics from August, and she had the same dress as well.

The wedding was in Calhoun GA. It was an at home wedding, in a living room. The house was in a big neighborhood so I to them to a local park for these.

I like the colors in the before shot as well, but I don't like the sticks in front of the fence, and their was some construction going on in the BG thats what I was like... yuck about it.

Here is another from that same place

Here is some dress detail, just to see if it is truly the same dress.... I hope that more brides start getting color in their dresses, I really like it.
