Some quick edits with some action from an Extreme fight night we were booked to cover.

For those interested, light was appaling. Four spot lights above the stage, nothing else. Full manual mode, using the photographic brain to manage the light on the fly, spot metered from the torso, various ISO and SS to try and nail the action. Shot through a mesh fence at F1.8 on my nifty fifty. Possibly the best £65.00 lens in the world is all.

One of those nights when a 1.4 would have been ideal, but my work mate had it in his bag elsewhere as we had been advised lighting here was good as was on TV!

A few more here, still working on the more visceral stuff !

As above Steve, without a doubt the worst light I have worked in. However, no panic, just went into 'low key' mode and created some 'seedy' fight night images, which I think work well. Client is well pleased.
