Very clear shot, I love it. Looks like he took a few spills that day look at his back. Ouch. Very nice shot!

for a non skate photographer its amazing
for an actual skate photo..
thenatural lighting and color is perf.
but composition sucks, total ass shot and perfectly centered... but other then that since you arent a skatphotog its a good shot..

I would think that on the other side of him on, standing on the top of the hip like you were would be cool so you could see his face and front side. Looks like that quarter pipe has some color to it and if you got on the ground infront of that ledge in the background i bet you could swing a nice shot with that lens. you could more easily show how big the quarter pipe is and how high out of it he was. I bet with the whole quart in the shot and the sakter towards the upper left corner, while leaning against the bottom of the quarter with the different colors on it and some blue sky would make for my idea of a cool shot. hope this can give you an idea or two, im no expert, but just continuosly walk around snapping different angles tryin to always get a good veiw of his face and with the skills you have from looking at your pic, im sure you will get some really nice shots!
