a nice shot not a criticism just an observation but why on what looks like a sunny day did you use Iso 400 would it not have been better to use a lower value.

Good question.

I just started shooting cyclocross and speaking to a number of the other photgraphers there, asking questions most of them said that for this sort of sport 400 would be the best speed to shoot at.

Most of the races go in and out of the shade.

Any suggestions? Would another speed be better?

im not saying what you did was wrong in any way at all but the lower the iso the cleaner the final image should be not that iso 400 is noisey but if u want to crop into an image much to get the composition you want , or to go the other way & enlarge it I think it will give you a bit more quality to play with. Keep posting m8 its allways nice to see a few different sports featuring on here.
