My grandma let me take my pick at some of my grandpa's old camera stuff and since none of the stupid Canon lenses would work, she let me take his old Retina Reflex S. Now, I have no idea what year it is. A quick search told me that the Reflex S was made from 1959-1961 but I have no idea what year it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Here's a couple photographs of it with the flash on it:
Oh, and does anyone know where I could pick up an adapter for that flash so it'll work on the Reflex just for kicks? It needs a bulb too.. But this stuff all came with the original manuals and I even got three filters that work on my XT that are in good condition.
I'm still kind of bummed about the old Canon lenses not fitting.. Is there some sort of adapter that I can buy that won't kill image quality? Thanks!
