Does anyone know how to copy your Firefox bookmarks from one computer to another? With IE I could just copy the Favorites folder from one computer to the other. But I can't seem to find the Firefox "Bookmarks" folder... Thanks.

It's all right here (external link).

EDIT: Look for the import, export section.

It is stored as a file - 'bookmarks.html' in the same folder your profile is stored - usually C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\Application data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxxxx (or something very similar)

Speaking of this type of thing, does anyone know if you can Imprt or Export a bookmark *folder* ? I'd like to synchronize some of my bookmarks between home and work, but not all of them....

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

The above link shows how to import, export, but if you want to partially synchronize, your better off doing that using the "Organize Bookmarks" option in the Bookmark menu dropdown , get one it like you want, then copy it to the other machine. Firefox at least does not have a way to synchronize between two different instances.

While we're Firefoxing, anyone know of a better dictionary than the FF one supplied? It's a horrible dic. I have tried several alternate .dic files but FF refuses to see them.

to export your bookmarks, click on bookmarks/organize bookmarks/file export and follow it from there.
