I'll admit it, this is a silly question, but I will ask anyhow. Anyone have any idea if Canon has any ideas of retrofitting the new E-TTL found in the Mark II into the 300D via firmware later on? I haven't found anything on the web, but there have just been so many complaints about flash exposure on the 300D (and 10D), that it makes me wonder. Through the new Nikon in to add a little pressure and it just makes me wonder.

Happy shooting,
Michael

People have been yakking about if it's even physically possible. It may be more than just software that makes it work. Never say never but I wouldn't hold my breath.
