Some quick shots around the house established that it is much, much improved. The AF is still not nearly as precise as the Canon, aperture for aperture, but it is way better than before. I want the bokeh and speed of the Sigma and the AF of tha Canon. I am ready to spend some cash to make it happen, but I don't like the extra 5mm of the 35L. I'm gonna take a good hard look at the 24L next. www.aminsabet.com
