I did a little crop, levelling and contrast adjustment that I thought might work better with that shot. Would have been nice to have the entire track on the left in the frame, though. Keep an eye out for stuff like that when shooting a scene like this. Little things like including a parallel track can help the image a lot. The switch signal in the foreground is nice. If I took the time, I'd probably clone out the electrical wires. Dec 22, 2006 23:15 | #3 Here is the original shot before croping Shot using 300MM @ F/11 1/1000 iso 400 I a still learning how best to expose for some items. The biggest hurdle is trains because of the headlight and steam locomotives because of their dak color against a light sky. Also used USM and adjusted that until it looked "right" to me. Of course, the crop is self-explanatory. - 5D & 60D (x2), EFS 10-22, EF 17-40L, EF 50 f1.4, EF 24-105L, EF 100-400 L IS
