The owner managed to save just those two, but she was never able to get the mother to nurse her two remaining pups, so they were both bottle fed. She found that she couldn't sell them, as potential owners were disturbed by fact that the mother turned on her pups, and that they hadn't received mother's milk, so we were given Remy as a gift. The owner was a patient of my wife, and she brought Remy in with her for her appointments (couldn't leave them alone). Remy bonded with my wife very quickly, so we got an addition to the family. And yes, using Aussie and British lingo in the same post is $50.00 fine.  Aww, bless that's sad for the other pups. But so lovely that Remy found a wonderful, loving home with you and your wife.
