Adam - He just turned 2 and was a rescue dog, yours?

He just turned 1. He looks so much bigger than he used to but seeing him next to yours makes me realize hes still just a puppy haha.

Adam - Here's Sarge shortly after we adopted him at 7 months old, you can see how much he has grown. He's now about 100 pounds.

This isnt picture related buuuuut....My wife and I will be looking to get a GSD within a year and if anyone browses this thread that lives in VA/MD where did you get your GSD from. Im having a hard time only locating 1 breeder in VA and 2 breeders in MD and the breeders in MD are charging $2500!! To much money if im not showing/ breeding. Looking for a black and tan short haired GSD.

$2500 really isnt a lot to pay for a good bloodline. Even if youre not showing or breeding, there is a lot of a dog's demeanor that can be attributable to their bloodline. Not only can it help guarantee and even-keeled and active GSD, but it also helps safeguard against ant genetic defects the breed can fall victim too.

Plus, if your amortize the cost over the life of the dog, its pretty cheap for the amount of enjoyment you get out of it!

My first outdoor pics with my first DSLR camera. The puppy is my wolfdog and the other is my GSD.

All GSD's are insane. How else would they be able to put up with us?

Jon.
