Here are some from Pike's first day at dog park. It was so hot it was just us. He's also running on hot over-saturated grass. I need to fix that.

That gunk in his ear is left over his adhesive from the ear taping. I can't wait for his fur to grow back in!

Cute puppy, D1337! I love King Shepherds. He's gonna be gorgeous. (:

TheMaggedy, Pike's so adorable!
Did you have to shave his ears for the tape to stick better?

Thank you. Yes we had to cut off all the fur for the taping. He had a big "halo" up there. I hope it comes back.

Yeah, I've heard "fear stories" of people telling me not to shave a GSD b/c their fur will never grow back, but I'm sure Pike's ears will grow out just fine. :) He's still quite young and long-haired GSDs don't finish growing out their coats until they are 1-2 years, is that right?

Beautiful dog! Mine loves soccer balls as well, but I never even thought to get him a mini one.. he manages to barely pick up the regular size though. I'll have to get him one of those little ones. (:

Excellent shots!

Zeus got a soccer ball stuck in his mouth when he was pup. He's not real fond of them now. ;)

Jon.

Thank you. I'm intrigued to know how you knew my name and dog's name? Earlier in the thread?:)

Yeah this ball is a size 1 football. He loves it but sometimes gets it a little stuck in his mouth. He can get it out himself though eventually. It's a better size than a regular size 4/5 for a dog.
