(65 lbs when she was at the vet a couple of weeks ago) .. but with Ron leaning back.. and the size relationship distortion of a wide angle, this shot give the illusion that she's much larger than she actually is.

As someone who's had shepherds for 40 years, I can tell you that, once they feel it's okay to chew on your arm, they won't stop. A strong "no" will usually do the trick, followed by giving them a chew toy and praising them when they chew on it instead. It'll take a little time and work, but it's well worth it. Your arms will thank you. "Everything will be alright. I'm from the government and I'm here to help."
