I have just been looking at the B&H catalogue, dangerous i know, but i noticed this lens, and i cannot find anything in the image archive for this lens.

I am curious to know what level of distortion there is, i would love a seriously wide prime with some distortion but not to the level of a fisheye- if that makes sense.

Any help would be appreciated.

Happy Holidays.

I guess you won't find a really seriously wide prime for a 1.6x crop camera ;)

Anyway, you might want to consider the 15/2.8 Fisheye and software correction. See this: http://pindelski.org/Photography/?p=151 (external link) (note especially that the 15/2.8 fisheye is effectively wider than the 14/2.8 after correction to rectilinear)

Sorry I couldn't answer your original questions, but I hope this was of some help...
