Had a different wedding today. A couple of stage actors getting married on the stage in a small festival theatre. Nice to have a change of pace from the normal wedding ceremonies. Hope you enjoy. More on the blog http://www.digitaliso.ca/blog (external link)

It may be the red seating reflecting off her skin!
The last one is a really cool shot.
I like the built in hot lights you used. If only all venues had them!

I like all but the first... and that just because the glitter she put on her arms and is too obviously showing. Otherwise I like the image.
I love number 2 (even though it looks a touch OOF) and 4

I liked the pictures, but is that all the smile she gave you? I know actors like to have a certain look, but I liked the dancing one best just because she was more natural.

Beautiful series of images. Pity about #2 being a bit soft though ...

You did really well with the stage lighting. A bit of a luxury but it has its own challenges!

Curious about lighting for the last shot... from the shadows it looks like bounce flash, but the ceiling looks like wood paneling. Can I ask how you did it?

Anyway, again, very well captured.

For the last shot, I used bounce flash but with a Lightsphere on my 580EX.

And as mentioned, #2 does have abit of camera shake in it. I get spoiled by my IS lens, and then try and pull off 1/30th sec with my 85mm handheld without flash. I wish canon would come out with a 85mm or 135mm with IS, that would ROCK.

#4 is very cute. The light in your reception images always looks great. Do you ever use any kind of off camera lighting? Or, do you just get up fairly close and bounce flash w/your 580EX?

Usually just bounce my 580EX. Sometimes I try a 420EX on a lightstand if I can bounce it off the ceiling.
