Which remote is best for the Digital Rebel/300D? The RC-1 or the RC-5?

Before I go spending $25 on one and realizing it's not the best one, I'm going to ask you all. Which one is the best one?

The Rc-1 has a 2 second timer if that means anything to you; I believe the RC-5 does not, but I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure the range on both is about 15 ft.

I have the RC-1, which was included about 10 years ago with my Elan IIe and it works fine. The only problem is that they're both infrared, so you have to be in front of the camera, unless you set up a mirror.

BTW, B & H lists used RC-1's for $14.
