Plug into TV = messed up - anyone seen this?

Hi there! I may have troubles with my 1 month old A630. I used to be able to plug it into the TV and view my images.

Now when I plug in, everything is on black and white, and the screen rez is messed. Same for playback and live display

Note, it's not the TV, I've tried on two different ones with the same effect ... I think my camera, or the cable are fried for displaying! Anyone seen this?

Try with another cable. Maybe a cable from oher Axxx may work...

does the camera have a setting for PAL and NTSC? maybe it got changed.
NTSC is used here in america.

I have has almost the same experience with my S3 on a large screen television. The picture was black and white and somewhat warped. Tried changing the PAL/NTSCI setting but I did not even get a coherent image. Then I tried it on another tv...and it worked fine.

I do not know what the difference was, but it wsn't the Pal/NTSC switch.

I should have thought of this but didn't think anyone could have touched my camera long enough to change the setting!! But sure enough, it had been switched to PAL ... i shoulda known (I come from England but live in Canada, so i've seen what PAL/NTSC do to each other!)

I too used to live in Europe and we purchased Multi-system TV's that auto switched between the world video formats.
