S3 Strap

Alright, this may sound like a stupid question, but how the heck does the strap go on the camera? The strap ends won't fit in the holes. Sorry if this is the wrong section. I'm talking about a Canon Powershot S3 IS.

Have the strap straight out, and run it down into the space at the top of the camera, and then run it back up through the little slide and buckle at the top.
I am including pics. Hope that helps.

Yup... that's how it's done... My Bride has the neckstrap on her S2; I prefer on old G-1 wrist strap on my S3... but the procedure is the same. [the S3 *will* fit in my pants pocket if I feel the need for 'hands-free']

that strap can loosen and slip the buckle. Happened to me and the S2 hit pavement and broke the lens advance. I put coat thread stitches on each side of the buckle when I got it back.
