Well finally there was a bit of sunshine here today and a few waves! I managed to get these this morning and will be heading back in the "golden hour" this afternoon if the waves co-operate! Always love to hear any C&C

butcha27,

Your photos showed background (deep cliff and ocean) look like familiar to me because I visited Wollongong (your town) and stay there for few days at beach camp.

My friend Aussies took me to Bellambi Point for surfing. I love this beautiful beach! Aussie surfers are friendly and cool.

P.S.

Let me introduce to you and others. I am newbie at here for first time tonight.
I am deaf man and I had been surfing for more than 34 years now.

I love photography since my first time Nikon F2 at 17 years old. Now, I am 46 years old.
Please forgive my weak grammar English because I use American Sign Language, which is my first language.
Thanks for understand and patient with me.

Hi, thanks for your reply. It isn't too far from Bellambi Point, it's about 10 minutes north of there in a town called Bulli. Very similar point break only bigger! :) Thanks for taking the time to look at my pictures.

Those are thick lips on those waves. That's some serious power.

Yeah it gets pretty heavy, this was only an average day size wise, it gets at leats twice this on a big day. But i was nice conditions wit h a slight off-shore breeze.

Yes, My same Aussie friend took me north of Bellambi Point like 10 to 15 minutes, drive up on wind road then we stop at the famous old pub ( I forget what name of this pub ) with a nice view of deep cliff and crisp green water that you just look down the cliff then look North to South. You can see Wollongong/Bellambi Point from the pub's view and see deep cliff at North with many miles of lonely road to Sydney and no soul in water line near the coast.
