Normally my mum comes over here for Xmas but due to circumstances she couldn't make it this year :( so I was Head Chef for the day!

We never use to have "pigs in blankets" at home, and I was feeling adventurous... so I wrapped some cocktail sausages in streaky bacon, gave them a very generous sprinkling of black pepper, and set them off in the oven.

They turned out good too!

...and sorry - they went too fast to allow a 'cooked' shot! :D

That's quite a neat shot.

Great use of the DoF, getting just the second row sharp. Good choice, too as it's well placed in the frame and shows it's your deliberate focus decision.
