These were taken at a couple secret spots while visiting the in-laws. I edited them on my laptop so the colors may not be right How do they looks on your monitors?

Nice shots, love some of the depthr of field (what set-up u using?) colour looks great to me? If anything maybe you could try cropping a couple of them a bit tighter and see what you think? I'd love to know what u think of my surf posts too! Great work!

Thanks butcha...I try to do as little cropping as possible. I don't want to rely on cropping to make my images look better. I usually pick a spot to shoot from and if the shots are too loose, I'll find another spot a little closer. The problem with non zoom lenses is that if they ride into the inside then the shots end up being too tight. That was the problems with this shot....

Very nice. I love that close up. Christmas at the beach, how fun!

Yeah buddy, looks like fun surf up north. I want to see the guy in photo 3 pull into that little barrel that is about to form. Are the guys in photos 4&5 wearing helmets?

I've got that barrel shot too but it wasn't too clean looking.

Yes, they are wearing helmets. There are many, many, many rocks at this spot. Both of those guys have hit their heads here so they started riding with helmets.

The barrel shot...

Thats a nice little cover up. I just checked the surf at scripps and blacks this morning. Blacks was offshore and huge but too overcast to shoot, so I had to surf... poor me.
