Looks like a good way to ruin a paint job and more. Cool shots.

Awesome photos!

That's got to be a fire hazard and illegal to drive a vehicle in that condition. I've seen police chases on COPS where the criminal would keep driving on rims after having his tires shot out from under him.

That's the trouble with lowering kits - there's no room for error. :)

I'm pretty sure this is done on purpose.......Probably has an air ride system and he just drops it down on some bolted/welded on pieces to the frame rails.

Sure does make a spark show for the other people on the highway.....Which I'm sure they don't like. Wonder what they would write down on a ticket for this??

If his gas cap leaked and it exploded, I bet he wouldn't try that again. That would cause more sparks than he wanted to see.

Cool pictures.

I'd be pretty mad if someone did that infront of me. Who knows what all he's shooting back besides sparks.

Those sparks are pieces of metal, and asphault. It's done on purpose by letting air out of an air ride system.

For the guy who knows it's called "laying frame", expect more pictures of this type of vehicle from me!

1) The truck isnt in focus at all.

2) Try to find some where that has a better background.

3) Find a not so public road to do this, because it can prove to be very dangerous for the cars behind you.

4) Try to get a better composition of the first one i.e. all of the truck and all of the spraks.

FYI Those little shards of metal CAN AND WILL imbed themselves into peoples winshield leaving a buunch of little tiny spots in it that will always be there. Cant imagine that it would be much better any paint.

Try doing this at dusk and you really wont have to worry abotu having to lower the shutter speed to much, and you will still be able to see all of the sparks.

I wouldn't like it either. I bet there's a lot of cops that would throw the book at anyone seen doing this.

Yeh this isn't suppose to be safe and polite, it's like someone blairing their rap music, or some hopped up import car speeding down the highway, but this form of "bad driving" is pretty, and rare to see.

Yeah but neither of your examples causes the need for a new winshield!!

I dont care how 'rare and pretty' it is, it doesnt get rid of the extreme danger that this imposses on the other people on the road. And how can you justify one dangerous thing with two others ?

If you want crituqe on your photos, show us things that arent illegal and dangerous. Also try to have your subject in focus too, it usually helps with the overall photo.

I'll keep my comments to the photos and not moralise about the right or wrong of doing this on a public street....panning shots should have a point of focus, neither of these shots do. I also think the quality of the action doesn't make up for the lack of focus. The suggestion of doing this at dusk with some available light is a good one, the results would look cool.
Roger.
