Powershot A430 Lens Rattle

Hi,

I just got a new Canon Powershot A430 and I have noticed when the lens extends it makes a rattle sound (as well as the normal lens sounds) and you can feel it through the camera body, mostly to the left where the lens is. Is this common or is it something i should be worried about?

dear, i wonder where did you buy that camera? i own a powershot A410, with repaired lens unit (by me) and it makes no rattle sound! but it did when the viewfinder was wrong installed...

if you never dropped the camera, go and ask for warranty because that's not normal!
thats why i always test things in the store itself, well but if you bought it in ebay.. or similar.. well good luck ^^
