Does anyone have the ACK-E2 AC adapter? I am thinking of getting one (yeah like I need more stuff). Is there any "real" use of it besides sensor cleaning and bulb exposures? Its more pragmatic to use a CF card reader to transfer pics.

If any of you are using it, it would be great to have inputs about it.

I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?

Firmware upgrades, too. My D60 insists you use AC for sensor cleaning, but then it came with the battery replacement, which plugs into the charger. I'm thinking of modding a spare to work with an external battery pack (maybe for cold weather shooting)

Two ideas right off the top of my head are time lapse and Astrophotography.
