I don't like MS for this image, personally.

I love MS on color images almost more than on b&w.. on this particular image I agree though that it looks better without it

I think you did a great job on the touch-up photo. I'm not too fond of the midnight sepia one. I think the church shot is great, but I agree w/Tim that it needs to be straightened a bit. ;)

I think your retouch is perfect ... not too much so she looks plastic, but enough that you don't notice the blemishes first. That should always be the goal ... to remove that which distracts from the POINT of the photo ... no more, no less.

Color-wise, keep it straight-up and true to the look of the scene when you shot it.

Nice work.

I like your original one Kathy. You did a great job on it. You didn't make her look plastic, but you made her look presentable on a day where she wouldn't have to worry about "how she looks"

I think the midnight sepia makes her skin look sick. I don't know. She has a lot of skin that's exposed in this particular image and I don't think that helps flatter her.

Defintely digging the second photo. Would go nice in portfolio.

Good job Kathy. I like your fix-up and I also don't think it's too overdone. Have you had a chance to ask the bride what she thinks yet?

Thanks for your input! I am making a collection of the different touch-ups and restore photos for a seperate portfolio....Just to show what I can do! And hopefully make more people at ease in front of the camera, knowing in their album they will look great!

this wedding will be the first set of pics I put on Picture Proofs! I am excited about that site!

Job well done, it looks natural, but may I suggest you dont show the original for her to compare with, as it may give her worse complex than she may already have. Just a thought.
