Kathy, great job on the skin. Looking at it, she still looks "like herself" and not like the photo had a lot of fix-up. I like the original color, but agree with song4themoon that the eyes need to be lightened up a little. I really think you're great for making sure that her photo's look terrific without making her skin look "plastic" as others have said. Every bride wants to look at their photo's and see themselves as beautiful instead of noticing imperfections first. You've given her that, lovely just lovely.

Thanks everyone. I did a lot of spot heal and a little cloning on a seperate layer. I also matched a skin color with the color picker and with a light opacity went over the area I worked to even her out a bit. I reduced opacity on that layer just a bit to take out the fakeness. then I ran a glow action, kept eyes and mouth sharp and flattened. Then added noise to give a little texture. I did go over her cheeks a bit with the burn tool to bring back a little depth. I will go and brighten her eyes a bit, I missed that.

Thanks again for all the comments!

Here is my shot at it. Although the lighting was off the composition is pretty good and if you want to show emotion I would recommend a conversion to B&W.

I also touched up the color image with a touch of skin softening and some minor color corrections. I also used liquify tool to make her a little slimmer in the neck and under the chin sine she was looking down which on a heavier person is not a good idea for pictures.
